  • 1.  Interfaces on Maintenance Mode impact on SS.

    Hello,

     

     

    i have 5-9 thousand interfaces that represent BAD Link Detected alarm on  Spectrum. These interface are no more in use so i want to put them in maintenance mode so spectrum never poll these and load on SS become little low.

     

    I want to know that any bad impact on SS performance of putting them in maintenance mode.

    Hello,

     

    Instead of putting the ports in Maintenance mode, why don't disable port monitoring?

     

    Use the Attribute Editor to set the following attributes to "No" on each port in a bulk.

    ok_to_poll (0x11dd8)
    PollPortStatus (0x1280a) 
    GeneratePortStatusAlarms (0x12a54)
