Hi! I am planning to migrate APM from on-premise infraestructure to AWS for take advantaje on the cloud tecnology like HA, my firts doub is if a avilibity zone is going down or one machine as a collector roll is down what happen with the smartstor database?

Exist one smartstor for each collector right? and the MOM can balanced and redirect the metrics for agent to collectors.

What happen with the historical data for especific agents? can I continued seen in the investigator or webview?

I am a little confused about the smartstor database, I know that the CA APM uses a Postgress Database for configuration data, bussines transaction data and tema center flow maps.

    Thanks!

    Dear Walter:

Yes each EM has its own Smartstor "database". See Configure and Manage SmartStor Data - CA Application Performance Management - 10.7 - CA Technologies Documentation   for details

    >and the MOM can balanced and redirect the metrics for agent to collectors. -- Correct

    Dear Community:

Can you add to this and help Walter?
