    How can I use this Client Automation functionality "Periodic Inventory Refresh"?

    not sure what you are asking.  if you have an agent it runs inventory once a day if configured OOB.  If you mean run a full inventory vs. a delta inventory if you are on sp1 or above it does that OOB once a week.

    This is a new feature of agent policy for r14.02:



    General Availability Announcement for CA Client Automation 14.0 SP2

    New features for CA Client Automation 14.0 SP2 include:
    Periodic Inventory Refresh: A new configuration option is introduced that can
    be used to specify the number of inventory collection cycles before an agent
    collects and transports full inventory of the target system, instead of the
    delta inventory. This helps in reconciling the inventory data, should any delta
    inventory updates be lost.

    "This policy option is available under the DSM, Agent, Asset Management,
    Collect full inventory path after specified number of agent runs. The default
    value is 0."


    "Collects full hardware and software inventory after specified number of AM agent
    runs. Value 0 indicates the option is disabled. NOTE: This configuration should
    be used carefully. It will effect the Engine and Network performance if small
    intervals are specified.
