CONTINUE is NOT the same as NEXT SENTENCE.
CONTINUE is a NOOP, which means that the rest of a nested IF could be
executed.
NEXT SENTENCE always goes to the next statement after the end of the
verb indicated by a period or if none found, the end of a paragraph.
