Well, listees, what a long strange trip it's been . . . After fifteen years=
as a SysProg in a VSE hybrid environment (with a few side projects managin=
g a Data General minicomputer and HP scientific workstations running CAD/CA=
M applications), I worked for five years in native VSE/ESA when we converte=
d our legacy APICS in-house system to CAS, then we outsourced to a service =
bureau running OS (and later zOS) so I got into the application end of thin=
gs, and now . . .

Our conversion to Oracle/E-Business Suite running on Linux is complete.

Thanks to everyone in this wonderfully generous user community for all the =
help over the years. You're all certainly a tough act to follow and I wish=
you all the best.

CA-World 2010 - Las Vegas - May 16-20

In case you haven't heard, the date and location for CA World 2010 has =
changed again. The conference has been moved back to Las Vegas, now at =
the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.=A0 There are new dates too, May 16-20, =

The IUA/EIUA and CA anticipate another exciting conference and we are =
looking for ideas and speakers.

UCFCICZ question

We have one CICSPROD region that talks to two IDMS regions IDMS1 and IDMS2.



We did this by having unique IDMSINTC, IDMSCINT and UCFCICS modules.



CICS release is TS 3.2 and IDMS release is 15.0 SP5.

IDMS DC Programs and LE COBOL
"Hello All,

I am currently running REL. 15 SP5. I have install LE COBOL libraries =
to our start up decks for our three production CVs. I have added the RHDCLE=

"John, have you attempted to recompile the COBOL programs with a
LE-COBOL compiler ?

We had some problems going from VS COBOL to LE which were resolved by
recompile under LE-COBOL.
