Will SDM 17.1 support using multiple email addresses in the email address field for group notification?

    Hi Ron,

The short answer to your question is no.  The easiest way to send a group notification to multiple emails (assuming you need to notify more than just the members of the SDM group) is to create a distribution group and use that group's address as the SDM group's email address.  To avoid multiple emails, clear the 'Notify' flag for any member of the SDM group who is also in the distribution group.

    Regards,

    James

    Hello Ron,

Can you be more specific to what you're attempting to achieve?  I'd like to know the specific use case where you would list the end users mentioned, if you are performing one of the automated notifications or doing an on-the-fly manual notify.

I can envision a simulated notification functionality that works as you described.  You are doing a manual notify and you do an arbitrary selection of end users to notify against, or you are doing an Initial Activity Notify and in the notification template, under the contact tab, you have specific users being notified each time.

As camja06 has indicated, this feature is not available yet in CA SDM.

Please advise if you have any additional questions or if this thread can be closed.
