I rememeber the technical staff of computer visions moving into
corporate headquarters hauling pc's bigger then 31"" TV's. that's all i
needed to know what a sham the acquisition was. someone forgot that the
software and hardware guys speak different languages and inhabit
different continents. however though, John Cullinane knew what CEO's
wanted, and that still holds true today. They want an intelligent view
of all their data, summarized, timely, and accurate. That was not
technologically possible in the 80's, or 90's, unless it came from
purpose built hardware/software hooked to T1 lines then. A Bill Gates,
Cullinet never had, and didn't have the organization to develop one
either.

Date Timestamp Abend
"We are getting a date timestamp mismatch between an DC program and a
map. Not hard to solve normally, but the abend is occurring in a trng
environment, where the program is not compiled into, but is being picked
up from a production environment. The map was moved into the trng
environment and compiled. Is there anyway we can use dmlo to fix the
timestamp on the map in our trng environment and fix the error? I tried
changing the map-098 record but that didn't fix the error. I am thinking
there is some other map record that is used for the load area but have
not been able to find it yet.
Anyone have any suggestions besides compiling the program into the trng
environment?

Re: Date Timestamp Abend
"Will,
The date/timestamp values are just that, a timestame in the load module
itself. (If you're daring, you can zap the module and change the value,
but you didn't hear it from me!)
