    Dear Community,

I configured a cluster of 4 API Gateway: 2 of them are in SSG_db replica and the other 2 are just processing nodes.

Do the processing nodes have a local SSG_db?

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Riccardo

No, the processing nodes will not have ssg database.

/opt/SecureSpan/Gateway/node/default/etc/conf/node.properties file has db config details

node.db.config.main.host --> Will be the host for primary db that the gateway will connect

node.db.config.failover.host --> Secondary database host the gateway will connect, in case if primary fails.(If failover is configured)

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer.

Maybe I was wrong in some configuration and I have the ssg database in a processing node.

Is it possible to safely drop the ssg database in a processing node?

    Thank you.

    Hello Riccardo,

yes as such you should be able to drop the ssg database in a processing node, as the gateway will not be accessing this one, but the one on the primary and secondary node.
