What methods have you used to successfully implement a
production CV with minimum downtime? Our backup and
batch processing window is currently about 6 hours. A
new business initiative is looking to compress it to
1-2 hours so that the on-line CV can be available in
full update for the rest of the time.

I have heard of successful use of DASD mirroring
techniques. Are there other viable methods? What are
the major drawbacks associated? Any other comments
    would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    F. Flasher

"To apply QO94233 I first had to apply QO88564 and QO90057 as prereq's on
    my 16.0 SP4 z/OS 1.8 system. I also received an e-mail on this hyper
apar notification, so thanks to CA.
