"Have you checked wit McKinney to make sure that you're up to date on the
maintenance for VVP? We do straight printing from DC to VTAM devices
that VVP picks up and stuffs into JES (so no UCF or CICS involved) but
we have periods where printing traffic is pretty heavy, and have never
had any problems like you describe. I realize our environment is
sufficiently different than yours, but it's worth investigating, unless
you know for a fact that the data in the transient data queues is
already screwed up before the CICS SEND TERMINAL is processed, and VVP
picks up the output from that already mangled.

Re: Who is inside an Area in the database?
    "Mike,
You can issue a DCMT DIS LOCKS AREA area_name

This will give you a list off userids that have locks on that specific
area. You can also leave the ""area_name"" parm off and it will list all
    areas.

Also, you may want to issue a DCMT HELP LOCKS as there are other
    parameters available.
