Our team is using Flowdock for communication purposes on daily basis and many team members prefer Visual Studio Code editor for development. Sometimes, they share certain information required during the deveopment, for example, code snippets, links, shell commands etc., due to which they have to switch a lot from VS Code to Flowdock (browser) and vice versa. It would really great if we could avoid switching and integrate Flowdock into VS Code so that developers can easily check and reply to messages from within the VS Code. Similar integration already exists between VS Code and Slack. If it is possible, I would like to develop such an integration as an open source software. My question is, does Flowdock provide certain APIs to develop such an integration? Secondly, does flowdock allows to integrate with VS Code and release the code as open source?
Please see these links for information about how to build an integration with Flowdock:
