My OLQ is a little rusty - but I believe there are a couple of choices. In
menu mode there is a PATH option . Where there are multiple navigations that
solve a given query OLQ will display all the paths that meet the requirement
and you can select the particular one that suits. If you can't find what you
want there - then what I would normally do is SAVE the query - and then go
in to IDD and manually modify the path. Probably most of the solutions will
say GET ALL within the set - you can change that to FIRST or (if you have
PRIOR pointers) LAST to just get the single record occurrence that you're
after.
Hope I haven't led you down the ""garden PATH"" - cheers - Gary
