We have CA ITCM 14 0 SP2 in our production with DM and SS..
When we try to deploy packages to few agents, we are getting job postponed issue..
Job execution postponed. Unable to download package from SS or any collaborating agent. [SDM228514]
Agents are reporting respective SS and we have checked sdlib , msilib everything is perfect and we are getting this issue for 2 or 3 agents - which is on same dsm version
Do you have any fixes applied on SS and Agent machine on top of R14 SP2? How many number of agents are there in environment? Switch off NASD if not required.
Yes we deployed T55L095.in SS, but still same issue.. Do we need to deploy this fix in Agent ?..
Also what is NASD and how do we switch off
Neighbor Aware Software Distribution (NASD) is a CA ITCM feature that enables anagent to act as a Collaborating Agent for peer-enabled software Distribution. TheCollaborating Agents are configured to retain the software packages that the NeighborAware Agents can download. Some agents in a subnet can be configured asCollaborating Agents which connect to the scalability server and can download thesoftware package.The NASD feature speeds up the software distribution as the collaborating agents canserve other agents even if the limit of maximum simultaneous executions on ScalabilityServer has been reached. If Scalability Server and agents are in different subnets, thenthe network bandwidth is reduced as the number of direct downloads from ScalabilityServer across subnets are reduced. As the Neighbor Aware Agents download thesoftware package from the Collaborating Agents in a local subnet network, the softwaredistribution is fast across the subnet

Regarding configuration policy.
From DSM explorer check the location as given below
ControlPanel->configuration->Defatult Computer Policy->DSM->Software Delivery->Scalability Server->Neighbour Aware Software Distrinutionand then paramterNeighbour Aware Software Distrinution: Neighbour Aware Software Distribution: Enable agent collaboration for software deployment
Create a new policy and change settings, then apply it on problematic SS machine.
Created new policy and applied SS - but still same issue.
In the policy, did you made the above parameter setting from true to false? We need logs TRC_USD_SDSERVER*.log from SS and TRC_USD_SDAGENT* logs from Agent to check what is the problem. Provide us the package name used to deploy and approximate time of deploy.

Yes i made it to "False" and tried, but failed..
I hope you have restarted ITCM services on SS machine after successful deployment of new configuration policy. Get us copy of logs so that we will do quick analysis if this is simple problem, if not, you may need to open a support ticket to get the problem resolved.
