We created transformation maps from SDM type to use them with Fast Data Masker (In-place Masking). Next step, we want to re-use these transformation maps to subset and mask our Oracle Database Using Transformation Maps (In-flight Masking). How can we reuse them? We want to avoid maintain two Transformation Maps when they have the same rules to masking. Or what should be the best approach, understanding that in some time we will need mask our DB using FDM and other time we will need to mask the same database using In-flight Masking.

For FDM we use the map of the type SDM and for subset we choose the DB accordingly in Datamaker screen. There is no utility  to convert one type of map to another that I know of, the function signatures are different for each database type.

It might be a good candidate for an enhancement request.

In the meantime, you would have to create a new map of type Oracle, you cannot use the SDM map for Oracle scripts.
