  • 1.  Percent field is growing when saving

    Hi,

     

    It's version PPM 15.5.1.240 01 51

     

    on any ootb Percent field (task or project object) I see strange behavior.

    When entering 1 (meant to be 1%) the field is populated with 100,00 % after saving.

    When I hit "Save" again, the value is growing to 1.000,00%.

    Saving again, it displays 10.000,00%

    And so on.

     

    When I type 0,5 or 0.5 then the value 500% is seen in GUI after saving. But in DB ist the correct value of 0.005.

    But saving again the 500% it is 5.0 in DB.

     

    What is the issue here?

    Anybody seen this already?

    Support Issue or something miss configured?

    Hi Christoph,

    Is this a MS SQL database?

    If so, could you check the following?

    Resource allocation segments do not save as expect - CA Knowledge 

    If it is Oracle, could you also check if it happens when the user locale of the user logged in is in US? Check if the behavior is different when the user locale in PPM is English (United States)

    thanks for the link. It is MS SQL DB and the link looks like this might be the cause.

    I will check it as soon I have access to the server.

    One more question, is this in Classic view or Phoenix UI?
