  • 1.  Identity Access Manager not starting after installation

    Hi All,

    IAM is not launching after 10.4 installation. Getting the below error in command prompt.

    "Error configuring embedded database. Couldn't start IAM."

     

    I am not able to see any logs in the path DEVTEST_HOME/IdentityAccessManager/standalone/log folder.

    There is no log folder under standalone.

     

    Kindly help to resolve the issue.

    Hi,

     

    Could you please open a command prompt and try these steps?
    1. cd %LISA_HOME\IdentityAccessManager\bin
    2. IdentityAccessManager.exe > IAM_start.log
    3. Attach IAM_start.log to this question

    But if you cannot attach the IAM_start.log file in this communities based on your company's security policy, then we suggest to create a support case.

    Please find the log below:

     

    'findstr' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.


    Error configuring Embedded Database
    Couldn't start IAM. Please check the above error messages.
    Exiting...

    Hi,

     

    To solve problem for the first message "'findstr' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.", then please read these links below:
    'findstr' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. in Windows Batch File (.bat)
    'findstr' is not recognized as an internal or external command

     

    And after solving the problem for the first message, then could you please try the same steps again?
