uncheck IT PAM integration flag when Upgrade to 17.1

Hi Team,

I've uninstalled the ITPAM-Options in Service Desk Manager Version 17.0.
Now I want to upgrade to 17.1 but in the product integration selection the process automation integration flag is checked an I cannot uncheck it.In the next step the provider URL etc. for the itpam integration has to be specified, but it is not possible to do that ,so I can abort the upgrade as it is impossible to go forward to the next step. It is impossible to upgrade to 17.1.
How can I uncheck the process automation integration flag?

The installer checks about this in multiple locations, so I'm not sure if this works.

 

Maybe one of the records in al_cdb_configurationparameters  and al_cdb_componentinstallstate   would let you un-check this one.  I do not have this info handy, but hope this helps

Hi Team

I checked the tables but cannot find rows related to ITPAM. It is strange, that the upgrade of the background server did work, only standby and the application server show this flag.

Perhaps somebody has an idea.

back to my ITPAM problem, I found the parameter as you did mark in your answer. Do I have to delete this row or rename the parameter?

Backup those al_cdb_configurationparameters and al_cdb_componentinstalllstate tables   (step #5  Moving the CA MDB Database on Microsoft SQL Server - CA Service Management - 17.1 - CA Technologies Documentation )  and the delete the needed records

Hi Raghu,

I found a solution to specify a working provider URL, now ITPAM is integrated although not needed,
but I cannot test your solution at customer site any more. Perhaps I can rebuild the environment in my VMWare.
