Mail Server Authentication

Hi ,

 

i am migrating my awa  from 10 to 12 with  Redhat 7.5 .

Everything went fine until i tried to send email notifications - it does not work.

 

On the operating system side there is no problem with sending emails.

After a talk with the email guys , they told me that i need user/password authentication to send emails.

Now my question:

Where in AWA 12 do i set this user/passowrd combination to send email notifications.

I already set the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS Variables

 SMTP_FROM_ADDR

 SMTP_SERVER

in Client 0.

 

And i tried a login object with with Agent/Name=* and Type=MAIL , User=<Username Password=<password> .

But it did not work.

 

Does anybody know what else i have to do to send email notifications ?
