  • 1.  Alert on Message Ageing

    Hi Team,

    Currently in our environment we are monitoring Active MQ 6 by CA APM 10.7 SP1 through JMX.

    The App team is asking us to generate an Alert when a message resides in a Queue for more than 30 mins.

    This alert should contain the name of the message as well.

    Like Message xyz is residing more than 30 mins on Queue abc.

     

    Requesting you to share your thoughts and feasibility of this requirement.

     

    Also appreciate if you have some alternate idea to cater this requirement.

    Hi Davis,

    Thanks for the update.

    We are using CA APM 10.7 and Active MQ 6. 

    But in the above link, I can see the below supported version

    APM version
    APM 9.7.1
    Supported third party versions
    Apache ActiveMQ 5.10.1

     

    So i am not sure whether it will work in our environment.

    works fine with 10.7.
