When user click the "Mark for Deletion" just we want to Display some message like "Don't Click this Button Please contact PM of the Project"
We achieve this via trigger just want to confirm is it correct the below column name
Purge_flag => Mark for Deletion
Table name: Inv_investments
You’d be better off looking elsewhere for a solution:
CA has stated that they are done making changes to the classic views of Clarity (yes, Clarity…)
Idea is not in their ideation process, not yet, for New UX
Given other needs, this one would likely get a low priority (we’ve run Clarity/Niku/ABT for years without anyone accidentally deleting a project – yes, can happen and your idea is a better solution, but this wouldn’t make our priority list)
There is a general issue with providing users info in many places of Clarity, not just this one button – and CA doesn’t appear to be addressing the bigger issue
We are looking at, and gaining support for the purchase of LetzNav<https://letznav.com/>. Take a look at it. LetzNav will allow you to create and display your “Don’t click…..” message, and solve many other user notification, training, help issues. Works with Classic and New UX. Also, can be used with many other apps (contact LetzNav regarding their licensing model). This should be in our budget for next year – can’t wait.
INV_INVESTMENTS.PURGE_FLAG is the correct column though.
