Rally Software

  • 1.  Planning and historical feedback in Rally

We are using Rally for our DevOps implementation tracking and progress of SCRUM team development

    1. Is there a way to get recommendations for SCRUM teams during iteration planning for pulling user stories based on past performance of the SCRUM team on previous iterations. Example: Recommend to have the planned velocity at a certain percentage as historically the SCRUM team is able to deliver up to this planned velocity.

    2. At the end of an iteration based on the accepted US for the iteration, the burndown chart analysis etc. providing retrospective items to the SCRUM team to take care of in next iterations.

    Hi,

I think you might want to take a look at the Velocity Chart. It displays the work completed in past iterations to make it easier to anticipate how much work can be completed in future iterations. You can find more information about it here Velocity Chart | CA Agile Central Help

This article provides some very broad outlines that might be of interest, but you may already have your own practices Retrospect Your Iterations | CA Agile Central Help
