    Hello CA Guys,

I would like to know how to configure interface monitoring in SNMPC?
For example, in interface_traffic we would do a discovery of the interfaces and select only the ones we would like to monitor.

Is it possible to do this in the SNMPCollector probe?

I saw that the probe works with a regex filter, but when the client does not have a default name for each interface?
Is it necessary to create a filter for each equipment instead of a general filter?

    Thank you for your help

Filters are needed or not needed based on the need.

If all interfaces are to be monitored the same then a filter is not needed.

One note - If there is no filter present, everything is considered as target managed by template.

For example, an built-in template "Default Template" has built-In the Interface Rules (ifOprStatus=1 AND ifAdminStatus=1)

In this rule, interface that does not satisfy these criteria are excluded from template management scope.
