  • 1.  Network Weathermap to a supported feature

In order to gain momentum on this feature I would like the weathermap moved into a supported feature.

As part of the product it would get enhancements and better integrations.

This is an extremely valuable tool for NOC's and management and engineers.

The field of automated network mapping has taken on greater importance as networks become more dynamic and complex in nature.

Many techniques are use to map networks and as Spectrum becomes better at understanding Layer 3 and higher protocols (way behind the times) we will need to visualize all this data in an easier to understand format, like maps. This is especially needed for post mortems and root cause analysis.

Take for an example AS paths for BGP even products like WhatsUp Gold, SolarWinds, NetBrain and many others can do this.

I do not want to pay for a separate engagement, I want it to grow as part of the product.

This is a key feature for any Network with a NOC.

You will not need to pay for any improvements/enhencements.

For now we would like you to just open this request into the: Performance Management
