  • 1.  Global Variable Change to (TODAY = 20170708)

    I'm going to some DB job and will down batch job during below periods.

    can i run the Global Variable as TODAY=20170708 on 20170709 ?

     

    Saterday (20170708) 01:00 : Global Hold (TODAY : 20170707).

    Sunday (20170709) 05:00 : Global Variable Change to (TODAY = 20170708)

                                -> Global Hold Off 

                                -> When the job run  after Global Hold Off, Can it run as TODAY=20170708 ?

    Hello Han,

     

    Is it for CA WA AutoSys Edition (WAAE)? It is not clear what the end-goal is. Could you please explain what you're trying to achieve? Global variable can be set to any value. It does not validate against today's date when set. For example, global variable TODAY can be set to a value of 'YESTERDAY'.

    $ sendevent -E SET_GLOBAL -G "TODAY=YESTERDAY"
