How #garbagecollection works in gateway? Is it automatic and garbage objects got deleted automatically from Gateway heap or we need to enable some settings to get it done.

We are using v9.0 of Gateway.

    Thanks,

    Siddharth

Gateway uses parallel GC(-XX:+UseParallelOldGC), or so called 'throughput gc', that's why we recommend at least 4 cpu for gateway

    Hi,

Is it auto enabled ? If yes, how can we check if it is enabled and working. Please suggest.

    Thanks,

    Sid

    Sid,

Yes it is auto enabled. You can follow the Garbage Collection section of this KB to monitor - Troubleshooting Gateway application failures, performance concerns, and service outages
