I have a farm worth of about 256 boxes and a NAS point accessible to all servers.

log folder is a standard local mount and agent is is running fine with binary current on NAS and .INI file locally. We're trying to accommodate the following request:

    - run the agent from NAS and have ini files also on NAS but as bindAddr obviously differs, we want to reference it on the startup script for each host.

    currently: nohup ucxjlx6 &

    goal example: nohup ucxjlx6 ucxjlx6.HOSTNAME.ini &

how can this be accomplished? thanks for your time.

appreciate the reply. you mean I can specify the .ini just the way I posted as example and it will work just fine?

    eg:
    nohup /opt/ara/ucxjlx6 ucxjlx6.HOSTNAME.ini &
