We are using CA service desk 12.6 version and backend DB as sql server 2005.
Currently we moved this mdb database from 2005 sql to 2008 sql server and trying to configure this in the service desk application server using pdm_configure.
While doing configuration via pdm_configure after providing the DB details and ServiceDesk login password it is throwing the error message "Can not connect to mdb database on server nxtdevsdmapp01", "Error running sql script to check permission"
Able to connect to the mdb database via sql client using the ServiceDesk login from the service desk application server.
Please help us to fix this. Thanks.
Hope that helps. If not then please post configure.log to this thread and we'll see what we can do. R12.6 is of course out of support, so hopefully you're doing this to set up a 'swing box' for an upgrade to r17.1 :-).

Problem is resolved.
In the Environment Path variable value for the sql client 2008 we set was wrong. Now the same is corrected and its working fine. Thanks.
