  • 1.  How to change tab name in portal 3.5

    Portal 3.5 CR4

     

    How can we change the tab name for pages in API portal?

    Currently, I am getting IP and For others pages, i am getting something else. Can we set it according to how we need?

     

    Please help

    Irfan,

     

    Please follow the below steps to change the Portal browser tab:


    1. Log into the API Portal CMS (<portalhostname>/admin)
    2. Sitebuilder > Pages
    3. For the page.xml file at the bottom, hover over the Layer 7 icon all the way to the right, and click into 'Properties'
    4. Under the 'Custom' tab, change SEOTitle to whatever you'd like
    5. Scroll down to the bottom and hit 'Apply Custom Detail Changes'
    6. Refresh the CMS page
    7. On the same page.xml line, a box with a green arrow should've appeared now, please click 'Publish'

     

    After this, you the tab should've changed to what you typed in step 4. I hope this helps.

    Thank you Alec for your help.

     

    As the steps provided by you i have done the same and i was able to change my home Page SEO Title as we want. But while changing the title for APIs and Plans Tab still facing issue.

     

    I have been doing the same changes as you said in below location for apis and Plans tab

    In Staging Mode I am able to see the changes taken effect but not able to publish the desired changes.
