  • 1.  Win 2012 OS show as Win 2008 AWS imported devices

    AWS is configured in PAM 3.0.2. While checking imported devices we noticed Windows 2012 devices shows as Windows 2008 in OS info.

    In operating system it shows Windows 2008.

    You can see it is windows_server 2012 r2.

     

    Why PAM see Windows 2012 as 2008? Anyone has any idea?

    I am not sure why this happens, but I have also noticed the same behavior when importing devices from LDAP.

    Is this a bug? Any solution? I can manually modify in PAM but it is not the workaround for customer as there are many of win2008 machines.
