  • 1.  Policy Server unable to connect to Wily

    Hi,

     

    I have installed the Wily Agent on linux Policy Server, and able to start the StartAgent.sh as well successfully but when trying to connect to Introscope EM its giving an error in the logs as,

    2/08/18 03:55:49 AM CET [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.Isengard] The Agent reconnection delay is set to 15 second(s).

    2/08/18 03:56:48 AM CET [INFO] [EPAgent.EPAgent PROCESS] Starting plugin 'PROCESS'.
    2/08/18 03:56:48 AM CET [INFO] [EPAgent.EPAgent NETSTAT] Starting plugin 'NETSTAT'.
    2/08/18 03:56:52 AM CET [WARN] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] Failed to connect to the Introscope Enterprise Manager at 10.251.152.10:5001,com.wily.isengard.postofficehub.link.net.DefaultSocketFactory (1).

     

    Not sure if there is any specific setting required to enable the connection.

    Can you telnet/netcat from your Policy Server to your MOM EM? If clustered, also check connections to your Collector EMs.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes the issue was due to the connection failure between the two servers. It has been resolved now.
