    Can we have API Developer Portal and Gateway on the same machine? What is the ideal architecture for production?

    Kareem, 

     

    Our standard API Portal image will have components of the Gateway but the Gateway should not be configured and run on the same machine as the API Portal. That is not recommended.

    Hi

     

    No the gateway should not be configured on the same server as the portal.

     

    The gateway and portal should be installed and configured on separate servers because of the criticality of the data that flows through the gateway.
