  • 1.  Can port 2124 be disabled on a Standalone Software Gateway 9.3

    Hello

     

    I understand that port 2124 is used only for internode communication in a clustered environment.  In an independent software gateway nodes, is it safe to disable the same?

     

    Appreciate if someone from the product management help answer the same?

    Dear Muthu,

    I don't think so. The port 2124 is for Controller to talk to gateway, even for a stand alone gateway.

    You may think of limiting the port 2124 for internal access only by adding advanced firewall rule from policy manager -> Transports -> Manage listen ports -> Manage Firewall Rules button -> Advanced Create

    Here is an example,
