    Can we have PAM DB residing outside on an RDS DB server? In an active-active cluster between in AWS, can we have RDS share to reside the PAM DB doing all its transactions on this DB?

    Presently no this is not a capability of the solution. With it being a hardened appliance, the data all resides within the locked down appliance. The database back ups of the appliance can be stored on a network mount point or S3 share of which are encrypted.
