I'm receiving the following error while creating DB2 connection profile from TDM Portal. I'm able to connect to the database in Datamaker through ODBC connection though.
Failed to connect.
The server replied: Could not load JDBC driver class [com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver]; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException
Appreciate your help.
Can you try copying the db2jcc4.jar file into the tomcat/lib directory? By default this is located here: C:\Program Files\CA\CA Test Data Manager Portal\tomcat\lib
I could create a connection profile after copying the .jar file into the specified library. However, I'm receiving an error during publish from TDM portal even though I was able to publish the same from datamaker.
nested exception is com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlSyntaxErrorException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-798, SQLSTATE=428C9, SQLERRMC=USER_ID, DRIVER=4.18.60
It looks like another customer was able to resolve this by making a change in their variables.
Here is IBM's community post on this error: IBM "...SqlSyntaxErrorException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-204, SQLSTATE=42704, SQLERRMC=<USERNAME>.USER_TABLES, DRIVER=3.…
If this doesn't help, please open a support case so that we can look more closely at your publish and its configuration.
try to change the site properties under database folder and mark lisadb.internal.enabled=false
Jdbc drivers should go into C:\Program Files\CA\CA Test Data Manager Portal\tomcat\jdbc-drivers
