  • 1.  12.52 SP1 Siteminder to have policy store CA Directory 12.0 SP14?

    Posted May 23, 2017 12:17 PM

I have 12.52 SP1 Siteminder installed on Windows and want to configure CA Directory 12.0 SP14 (Windows 2012 Standard R2) as the policy store. I am not able to install jXplorer and cannot get to the UI.

Thinking aloud should I use 12.5 of CA Directory. Does that make my life easier? IS that supported as policy store for 12.52 SP1?

You will still need jXplorer or some Ldap client even if you were to go with 12.5 CA directory.

Keep in mind, CA Directory 12.0 SP14 or older will be end of life 1/31/2018.

CA Directory 12.0 SP14 and older End of Service Announcement

    Hi,

    For your question:

Thinking aloud should I use 12.5 of CA Directory. Does that make my life easier? IS that supported as policy store for 12.52 SP1?

R: R12.5 CA Directory is supported as policy store for policy server 12.52SP1. You can find platform matrix from link below:

    SAP Portal Services

If you are not able to install jxplorer (why not able?), you can use other LDAP browser to manage CA Directory ie: Welcome to Apache Directory Studio — Apache Directory
