Does iReport5.2 support TLSv1.2 and how to enable it?

  • 1.  Does iReport5.2 support TLSv1.2 and how to enable it?

    Hi

    I meet such problem that I install iReport5.2 on UIM primary hub server and configure UR server to another server.

    I could successfully create UR server on iReport without problem.

    But when I set UR server to use https only and configure https_connector as below:

    <https_connector>
    URIEncoding = UTF-8
    sslEnabledProtocols = TLSv1.2
    </https_connector>

    When I refresh the server it prompts below error message. referring to attachment <
    2017-09-20_14-37-35.png>.

    Error:

    ;nested exception is:

    javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure

    I also attach the wasp.cfg and portal.log to attachment for your reference.

    Question:

    1. Does iReport5.2 support TLSv1.2 or not?

    2. Where to enable TLSv1.2, on iReport or Jave?

    Thanks.

    BR

    Jaspersoft Ireport was first released back in 2013.

    I do not think it has support for TLS 1.2

    I could not find any reference to being able to change the cypher's for SSL.

    I have not tried this but it might work:

    Using SSL certificate in Jaspersoft Studio 5.5 | Jaspersoft Community

    Hi Howard

    Thanks for your answer.

    But we only use the ireport which doesn't contain JasperStudio or Jaser server part.

    And I think there is also no tomcat related software installed, I have no idea where to find cer file...

    Do you think iReport is also part of CA Support scope?

    Thanks.
