Has anyone had success in utilizing the APM Command Center agent controller within Docker or Cloud Foundry containers? We have installed it in our Docker containers in test and it has been incredibly useful.
I was mainly wondering the following:
- How concerned should I be with the overhead of the additional Java process running the controller within the container? (Being that one of the benefits of running within containers is to run very lean)
- Has anyone configured the ACC controller for Cloud Foundry? If so, do you have specifics? I imagine it would have to be initialized within the buildpack just like the agent is installed.
- Any other tips or roadblocks you have had in the process of implementing ACC controllers.
