First I would like to state this is a software installation ( non appliance )
We are installing API Gateway in a cluster environment.
According to the guides, it seems we are limited to only 2 Mysql instances regardless the number of API nodes we might implement in the environment.
If this is correct, it seems the best approach would be to move the mysql´s to separated and dedicated servers ( running outside API servers ) so that all API nodes access the remote mysql server.
Another questions came up, is it possible to have those 2 mysql servers on remote servers ? ( outside API gateway installation ) .
Api gateway support remote mysql servers. For more details, please refer to Configure the Gateway Application (Software) - CA API Gateway - 9.2 - CA Technologies Documentation
The network latency could be a concern.
Thanks a lot !
