Setting up Status report reminder for a particluar project

1) How to set status report reminder for a particular project ..?

2) Is it possible to cancel only the reminder set to a particluar project, as currently even though teh project is closed , yet reminders are sent out to Project manager.

How exactly are the reminders being sent to Project Managers? That is, is there a custom process that sends out emails?
