    How can export the Policy Store ID parameter in Siteminder XPS? Its a read only parameter and also cannot be exported via XPSExport ?

    Any suggestions would be really helpful.

    Hi Sandeep,

    Are you referring to the policy store id in smps log when it startup?

    ie:

    [1912/1916][Wed Oct 05 2016 23:17:58][XPSIO.cpp:580][CXPSIO::SetPolicyStoreID][INFO][sm-xpsxps-00430] Policy Store ID is "45eb852e-a9bc-4d26-87a3-0adfbc5928f4".

    If it is, any reason why this policy store id is needed?

    Regards,

    Hi Sandeep,

    You have two options here :

    1. You can view the PolicyStoreID using XPSConfig and copy it manually, it is just one ID.

        For this, Open XPSConfig --> XPS --> Policy Store ID

    2. Perform full policy store export (xpsexport c:\fullexport -xb -npass) and search for PolicyStoreID

    <ConfigurationData>
    <Vendor Name="CA">
    <Product Name="XPS">
    <ParameterName Name="PolicyStoreID">25ade49b-1cee-441e-bb48-d0f31188051b</ParameterName>
    <ParameterName Name="SkipDictionaryCleanup"/>
    <ParameterName Name="ExtractInputDir"/>

    Hope this helps.
