  • 1.  ITPAM with Vcenter

    Hi,

     

    How to orchestrate the below using ITPAM. Below actions i need to perform in vcenter 6.0.

     

    Find the server and Shutdown OS of the server.

    After switch off the machine i have to rename it adding 'z' to the hostname.

     

    Any help on this.

    Have you reviewed the CA Process Automation Connector for VMware vSphere?

     

    You should be able to accomplish your goals with the connector.

    Log into support.ca.com, select Downloads - enter CA Process Automation Connector for VMware vSphere for your product.   Select version 15 and proceed to the downloads page.

     

    As an additional note: connectors such as the CA Process Automation Connector for VMware vSphere are included with a Full license of CA Process Automation.  If your license for Process Automation.  The entitlement to Process Automation through a CA Service Desk or CA Service Catalog license are limited for use within those products and do not included access to these additional connectors. 

     

    If your entitlement for Process Automation is through your CA Service Desk or CA Service Catalog license and you have a business need for CA Process Automation Connector for VMware vSphere or other connectors, please contact your account team.
