Upgrade from 7.1 or Fresh install of CA Gateway 9.2

I am thinking of just installing the CA Gateway 9.2 OVA and manually recreating our policies and configuration rather than do the multistep upgrade from 7.1.   Does this sound like a good idea - 30 policies that are basic.

Hi paulk622. I would recommend doing a fresh install of 9.2, if you don't mind recreating your policies. The "official" upgrade from such an old version requires many steps and is fairly time consuming. We have been testing out an "expedited" upgrade process from v7.1 to v9.0 in-house, but it is not refined enough to release publicly yet.
