Total transactions on the Portal and temporary folder

Hello,

 

I'm trying to clean the temporary folder (define by -Dlisa.tmpdir=/donapp/udvtst/p00/log and -Djava.io.tmpdir=/donapp/udvtst/p00/dat) each week. I have noticed that the "Total transactions" displayed on the home page of the Portal (see attachment) is reseted to zero with the cleaning.

 

Do you have an explanation ?

Hello Benoit,

 

I believe the total transactions value displayed in ' Virtual Services: Current Status' is stored under the $lisatmp_dir.

When you delete the entire folder it will reset that current txn count.

 

In case you would like to view the total transactions for the VSE you can go under Reporting/ Virtual Service Metrics and you will be able to generate charts for 'VSE Lifetime Total Transactions' and 'Transaction Daily Counts'.

Because it's a temporary folder, I was not expecting to this behaviour. 

Can I know which will be all the impacts when I delete the temporary folder ?
