Robots status are ok on IM console but sometimes robots doesn't connect due to n/w or other issue. So in it's condition one by one robot connection check (Ctrl+R) process is time consuming. Have any option/script that we can check robot connection for all robots and get result in .txt file or excel file.
Any specific reason for trying to check the connection manually for individual robots ?
HUB by default does the check at scheduled intervals and alerts the for robots which are inactive or the once its unable to communicate with
Sometimes doesn't get alerts , when I check and find that, robot are up and their probes are also up with PID value but greeting communication error when connect robot or open controller. So I want to pull communication error robot report . Any option please help.
The hub does not check that it can communicate with all of the robots. It just generates an alarm when a robot has not checked in recently. (Recently means it has been 1.5x the check-in interval of that robot since the last check-in.) If robots can open connections to the hub but not vice versa, the system will not alert you to that at all. You'll only find out when you try to configure a probe. Or if you've setup something else, as mentioned by Philip below. The good news is that you'll still get alarms and QoS from the robot because it can connect to the hub, so your monitoring is not impaired--at least not until you want to change it in some way.
Hi Suman, I think this thread might be helpful for you - Detecting Malfunctioning Robots
There are a lot of options towards the bottom of the page.
Hope that helps!
