  • 1.  Is the Webstart to Webview migration still being progressed?

Currently WebStart is half-migrated to Webview, still supporting Webstart clients means I have more overall processes directly connecting to my MOM, I want everyone really to use Webview. However most can't if they need to adapt dashboards / management modules. Some options are appearing in APM that means you can create the object in Webstart but then need to switch to Webview to configure further options which is not ideal.

At a user group and through a few conversations it seems like the migration is not progressing and the intention is to focus all attention on TeamCenter, as great as Team Center will be at replacing most functionality its likely a legacy Webview will still be desired at least for a couple of more versions and so completing the migration is important.

Unless you intend to fudge management modules into TeamCenter..?

    Hi Chris,

As much as I understand, that is the plan.  Adding Florian_Cheval to see if he has anything more to add to this.

    Thanks,

    Matt
