migration from 2.6 version to 3.2 fresh intallation

    Hello,

     

    I am involed in a PerformanceManager migration from 2.6 version to 3.2. We have to deployd a new enviroment to upgrade the RedHat version.

    Is it possible migrate data from each application (DataCollector,DataRepository,DataAgregator,PerformanceCenter) in 2.6 version, to the new hosts in the 3.2 fresh installation? Or is it possible to do the same from the 3.1 version to 3.2 fresh installation?

    Hello Susana,

     

    Have you seen this section of the documentation yet? It should answer these questions for you.

     

    Plan the Upgrade or Migration - CA Performance Management - 3.2 - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    You'll see in the first section that to go from r2.6->r3.2 will require an intermediate step upgrading to r3.1. So you would need to go r2.6->r3.1->r3.2.
