With 3.0 PAM introduced the Management Console. Once PAM is deployed you turn it into a Management Console by applying a license that includes PAM Management Console. Make sure that the PAM instance to which you apply such a license is intended to have only the Management Console functionality. Once a PAM instance is a Management Console it may not be revert. To do so, you will have to deploy a new PAM instance, for OVAs or AMIs, or replace the SSDs in a physical appliance.
