    Hi Team,

We are planning to monitor two Teoco product NeTkT and Netorder .These two applications are using Remedy 6.0.3 and Remedy 7.6 receptively in the background.

Will you kindly let me know whether CA APM 10.1 is capable of monitoring Remedy 6.0.3 and Remedy 7.6.

    Cheers

Making a discussion since it is about custom instrumentation

We have a case opened on this but as its custom instrumentation support cannot help much.

Customer is expecting some information through this thread.

    Hi Team,

I have installed the default java agent in the NetKt (Remedy 6.0) Application. As per the App Team the arsystem.sh is the startup script and ar.conf is the config file which is referred by arsystem.sh file while starting the application.
So i have put the jvm args (-javaagent:/remedy/wily/Agent.jar -Dcom.wily.introscope.agentProfile=/remedy/wily/core/config/IntroscopeAgent.profile) in the ARF-Java-VM-Options: section ar.conf file but still we are unable to see the Application in APM investigator.

Attaching the arsystem.sh and ar.conf file for your reference.

    Any suggestion is welcome.

I didn't see the arguments in the ar.conf file, but the ones you list above appear fine.

Are you getting any agent logs?  If so check to see if its attempting to connect to the EM.

Another thought is that its possible that the javaagent directives are not being pulled from the ar.conf file and may be missing the wily directives.

    Hi Musma,

    Thanks for the response.

Attaching the updated ar.conf file with jvm args added in the ARF-Java-VM-Options: section. No we are not getting any agent logs.

I tried with armonitor.conf file also but  it did not work.

    Cheers
