  • 1.  dashboard vs clariion

    Hello!

    We want to create a dashboard for out EMC VNX5400.

    In "clariion" probe via Infrastructure Manager we see all information we need: disks state, power adapters state etc..

    The tree in craliion probe is VNX->

    Auto Configuration

    Auto Monitors

    FAST Cache

    Hosts

    Physical (here is 99% on information that we need)

    LUN Folders

    SP A

    SP B

    RAID Groups

    Storage Groups

    Mirror Views

    Thin Pools

    .....

     

    BUT in the Dashboard design (Metric) we have only

    -Clariion

    LUN

    StorageProcessor

    System

    ThinPool

     

    -LUN

     

     

    The question is HOW we can add state of the disk to Dashboard?

    This is Windows 2012 R2 server, clariion 1.64, and Nimsoft Infrastruction Manager 4.10 (Rev 1.0)

    Show the advance data sources and use the QoS option to select what you need.

    We did it and there is no new options for VNX5400

    Please find the information on how to change the configuration for the different default monitors here:
    https://docops.ca.com/ca-unified-infrastructure-management-probes/en/alphabetical-probe-articles/clariion-clariion-monitoring/v1-6-clariion-im-configuration/v1-6-clariion-im-operation-and-use  If the button for "Publish Quality of Service" is not available for the specific monitor, then this monitor does not support the gathering of Quality of Service data.
