  • 1.  How can I know which devices generate more events and traps in CA Spectrum?

    In Spectrum 10.2.0

    When SpectroServer performance is saturated, it no longer generates events and alarms.

    I noticed that there are devices generating too much information.

    There are several different queries you can run against the ArchMgr DDM database to get "top n" results like - get the top ten models with the most events.  All are documented here;

    Hi,

    the poll threads should never hit the maximum for a prolonged period of time. We noticed this behavior with several of our customers and it turned out to be a Spectrum bug. Please refer to the 10.2 patch list - the PTF_020 deals with this issue.
